You have my eternal gratitude. Thank you!Seriously. Thank you soooo sooo sooo much! When i was modding FNV back in the days. Hitman's Animation Pack was my go to animation pack. When i found out that he removed it from Nexus, i was very sad and disappointed. Then when he said to go download the Animation Pack made by Asurah, i was really annoyed. Now Asurah is not a bad modder.
PAYDAY 2: First Person Animations Update IT’S TIME TO GIVE THE FIRST-PERSON ANIMATIONS SOME MORE LOVE Heisters, it’s time to give the first-person animations some more love. My issue is this, I'd like to attach some kind of weapon to the player which swings and hits the enemy. I've got no player model loaded as it's first person I don't need one therefore no weapon models or animations either. However I want a melee weapon to appear and swing when the player attacks, what is the best way of doing this? Mar 22, 2016 Page 34 of 68 - 1st Person Weapon Animation Overhaul - posted in File topics: A message for hitman47101.It is a great mod indeed, congratulations for your hard work but I'd like to say and ask a few things.1. 3d Weapon AnimationI appreciate the effort he put into the mod but that doesn't mean that i should praise his mod.I personally myself don't like his animation pack. I prefer Hitman's animation. And giving us the option to either download Asurah's or use vanilla is honestly not a good choice for me.Hitman could of have easily just said that he won't be supporting the mod anymore and he could of have left it on the mod page. But yea, enough of my ranting. Thank you yet again for download link dude! I also have never heard of a fix or a bug of what you are describing.Edit: Looked for a bit on Nexus through the bug fixes but found nothing that describes your bug. Good luck on finding what you need. Command and conquer red alert 3 free download windows 10. Asurah Reanimation PackHI, great looking hands.I have 5 quick questions, I hope you can help.Forgive if they are noobish questions I am quite new to Unity. But really like the look of these hands.♦ 1. Does the plugin also work with SteamVR Vive please? I only saw Oculus mentioned.♦ 2. How easy is it to implement. Is the hand boned, can I, or do I need to add colliders, or is it already all set up?♦ 3. Is the map available, for me to take into Photoshop to alter colours and appearance?♦ 4. Is there a longer arm option with the gloves. I didn't see it in the screens or video.♦ 5. I am primarily looking at this plugin for fantasy style RPG so archery (bows holding / pulluing etc.) swords, shields etc.Are these type actions included please?Thank you for any help.Best Regards.Andy. Hi,1) I am not sure how to go about the steam setup but there should be tutorials on implementing your own hands. One user just made the hands orient to the controllers then took away any of the root animations. I found this:2) The Hand has bones although you may want to add your own collision boxes and parent it as a game object to whichever bone(s) you like3) All textures can be opened individually from Unity and edited/saved4) Yes, not sure if I included it but I will update the pack with this if I see its not there.5) I recently added those kind of poses for bows but should add motions for sword shield etc. If you need to add your own, then FBX file can open in Blender ( I will do a tutorial to cover this mid-august). I can add stab, swing, slice horizontal (left-right) and Swing down from above. Shield I can add some deflect-guard face, to left and to the right. I will cover those in a tutorial too. Hello Robert.I am SO sorry. I thought I had responded to your excellent reply above.I am going to buy the asset. And yes Please I would love to have the ability to use sword and shield. And I am sure it would also be a selling point for others, as with the already implemented 'bow animations' it bring much needed actions to any RPG.But your comment about a tutorial on Blender for doing this would also be a huge benefit for future, and varied additions of our own.And or if you dont get around to adding sword and shield. It would enable users who do not have the Blender knowhow, to add them themselves. And even other tools, weapons etc. And even perhaps 2 hand weapons. And thank you about the long arms. ![]() (Always my favourite in VR) But with the gloves reply.Very Best Regards.Andy. Hi All,Sorry for the non-squakee, been on holiday then moved house. I have recently updated the hands with some extra animations of magic casting and also finger pointing etc.I will be working on a brand new set of hands soon that are left-right independent and more ready for VR than this set. Just looking into that whole oculus touch setup.I will try to find time to do some tutorials on removing keys and adding your own animations soon, just real busy catching up on client work, but really enjoying the popularity of these hand props. Thanks for those who have bought these and continue to support me. New version 1.51 is a complete overhaul of the skinning weights due to there being an initial skinning issue in older versions. This version may not work as a general update to your project and thus you will have to re-intergrate the prefabs from the model or use the new ones I have created. There is also texture improvements and and extra normal map which works correctly with the lighting for the mirrored version of the arms. Please suggest your animations you require here and I will then to add those alone with adding proxy weapons the help in your game design. Centered Third-Person CameraWhile playing Fallout New Vegas in first-person mode is fun, there is no better way to improve your overall awareness of your desert wasteland environment than by playing in third-person mode. Well, unless you aren't using. This little mod is self-explanatory, and fixes one of the most jarring design decisions by Bethesda and Obsidian. Having the third-person camera off center makes playing New Vegas horrible, so kudos to Centered Third-Person Camera for fixing this flaw. One of the more interesting gameplay mechanics in Fallout New Vegas is the interaction with companions like Boone. However, outside of a paltry few side conversations and a whole heaping of killing, companions basically act like your slave. Fixes this problem, giving Boone, Ed-E and others a life of their own. At the very least, they relax when you are shopping, smke cigarettes, sit down and talk, and at most they take on their own ambitions, leaving your group for short periods of time. This post is part of the series: Fallout New Vegas Mods. I'm designing a mini RPG which uses a first person melee system and I'm wondering about the best approach when creating this with Unity. I've been programming games for years but completely new to Unity and it seems Unity does things a bit different than I'm used to!:)So in my first attempt I use the first person controller which I've attached a couple of scripts to in order to manage the player state. I've got enemies which chase after the player when he gets close enough (thanks Lerpz tutorial!) and when within 'melee' distance the enemy will 'hit' the player and the player can hit the enemy when they press the attack button. My issue is this, I'd like to attach some kind of weapon to the player which swings and hits the enemy. I've got no player model loaded as it's first person I don't need one therefore no weapon models or animations either. However I want a melee weapon to appear and swing when the player attacks, what is the best way of doing this?Do I just load a weapon prefab and run its animation as soon as the attack button is hit? Npc control center sims 4. Or is there a better way?How would a Unity expert implement a first person melee system? Thanks a lot for your detailed and informative answer! It will certainly help me get this system in place. After reading through, I had a couple of questions:Is there a specific reason why we store an array of the Transform component of the weapon prefabs rather than an array of GameObjects? Is this just convention?I currently have the damage dealing & enemy facing in place already however I use SendMessage('ApplyDamage') instead of directly accessing the enemy script as you do in your example (enemy.InflictDamage). Is your method a preferred method in Unity? If so, why? Thanks!
